            During the Roman times, the vision from Vespasian and his sons to built the greatest arena ever seen in the Roman world that took less than 10 years to complete this construction arena. The design came from by Vespasian, who was the emperor of Rome, and then followed my Nero, Nero was also an emperor in Rome, but Nero’s statue made of bronze is at the side of the Colosseum, or either we call the Colossus of Nero. The Colosseum thought to be built between 73-75 AD. When their ruler Vespasian died his second son Domitian added designs to the top tier and a vast network of rooms, cells and tunnels.

            The design of the Roman Colosseum applied from the latest Roman arts, architecture and other creative endeavors. Invention of concrete enabled this building to be built so quickly, efficiently and to a great effect. The beauty was done to the highest artistic style used in the building were Travertine lime stone, tuff is used in the preparation of cements, tiles, marble and lead.

The Colosseum is really one of the most astonishing work of art, architecture and structure. Only from its columns and arches, we can see many stories on how and what happened during those time. I think they were inspired to build these, because it shows how powerful they were. Creativity of the Colosseum still remains as well thought work of arts
